# Improved search for Shopify’s admin

Shopify says search is significantly faster in its redesigned desktop admin. You can [search admin pages](<https://changelog.shopify.com/posts/search-shopify-s-admin-and-ask-sidekick-from-one-flow>), resources, settings, and installed apps from the same place.

Once the updated search is available for your store, open it with **command+k** on Mac or **control+k** on Windows.
