# Codex 0.163.0 Codex 0.163.0 lets [you steer an active response by]() sending a follow-up while it's still working. Interrupting a turn also stops active Code Mode cells and their nested tool calls. The new /config screen lets you search preferences, change supported settings immediately, and see which changes need a restart. You can also restart a managed background server with /daemon. Codex warns about work the restart could interrupt, then reconnects automatically. Resuming a saved thread now restores its permissions and network approvals while respecting explicit overrides and current managed policy.
