# Codex 0.162.1

Codex 0.162.1 fixes a [terminal crash caused by multiline asynchronous](<https://github.com/openai/codex/releases/tag/rust-v0.162.1>) questions, preserving their line breaks and complete hyperlink destinations.

It also fixes startup failures when a running background server's feature settings differ from CLI defaults. Compatibility checks now apply only to explicit command-line feature overrides.
