# Claude can brief an edit from a reference video in NexLev

You can use [NexLev](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/nexlev>)'s [MCP connection](<https://x.com/nexlevio/status/2116111883778626010>) with Claude to turn a reference video into an editor brief covering cuts, captions, transitions, and camera moves.

Give it a public YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram link. It extracts timestamped frames that Claude can use to describe the edit. Those frames don't include speech or music.

Frame extraction requires a paid NexLev plan, and the frame collage links expire after 24 hours. Private, age-restricted, members-only, and live videos aren't supported.
