[Supabase](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/supabase>) [Compute is](<https://supabase.com/blog/supabase-compute-private-alpha>) in private alpha for running agents, background jobs, and APIs in the same project as Postgres. The free waitlist is limited to us-west-2 projects, and the alpha is for evaluation, not production.

Services run in Linux environments and can be public with a URL or private without one. Public services suspend when idle; private services keep running.

Every service gets the project's secrets, and Compute doesn't provide agent sandboxes. Services can restart, so save long-running work to Postgres. There's no autoscaling, GPU, or persistent disk, and the alpha may change or end.
