# Krita 5.3.4 Released!

Krita 5.3.4 and 6.0.4 bring [video export](<https://krita.org/en/posts/2026/krita-5.3.4-released/>) to Android, so you can render animations and export timelapses from the recorder.

The releases also remove the GIMP XCF import plugin because its third-party library was no longer maintained and had security issues.

Krita's team considers 5.3.4 suitable for production work; 6.0.4 remains more experimental during the move from Qt5 to Qt6. For 5.3.4, the minimum macOS version rises from Mojave (10.14) to Catalina (10.15). Krita is also no longer producing 32-bit Windows builds.
