[Grok's grok-voice-transcribe-1.0 speech](<https://docs.x.ai/developers/model-capabilities/audio/speech-to-text>)-to-text model is deprecated and reaches end of life on October 2, 2026.

All requests to that model name are routed to grok-voice-transcribe-2.0 at the same price. xAI says the newer model has higher accuracy. You can make the switch explicit by setting model=grok-voice-transcribe-2.0.
