# Added paired\_item\_id to the Item object, available through /item/get and /user/items/get

[Plaid's Item object now includes paired](<https://plaid.com/docs/changelog#october-27-2026>)\_item\_id through /item/get and /user/items/get.

For Items created through a hybrid Link session, or by adding Plaid Check products to an existing Plaid Inc. Item, the field identifies the corresponding Plaid Inc. or Plaid Check Item. It's omitted when there's no paired Item.
