# Perplexity Computer now works in your own Chrome

[Perplexity](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/perplexity>) Computer can now [work in your own Chrome browser](<https://x.com/AskPerplexity/status/2116183470439620676>), using sites you're already signed into. The extension is available to all Computer users in the Mac and Windows apps.

Install the [extension](<https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/perplexity/pninphncmkphpjgfffammoenglghcjii>), then connect the browser through Settings → Connectors on Mac or Settings → Permissions on Windows. Computer can read pages, fill forms, and work across your tabs.

Edge, Brave, Arc, and other Chromium browsers also work. Comet has this control built in. The listing says Computer only uses the browser during a task you start and doesn't collect browsing data in the background.
