# Gemini Omni 1.1 Brings New Controls to Google Vids

[Google Vids](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/google-vids>) now lets anyone with a Google or Workspace account try AI video creation at no cost on desktop, using Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash.

You can extend scenes while keeping characters, lighting, and style consistent, set exact clip durations, and generate or upscale scenes in 1080p. Google says AI-generated clips include a SynthID watermark.

To start, open [vids.new](<https://vids.new/>) on desktop and select “Create AI videos.”
