# Gemini 4 Carbon rolls out first to cyber defenders

[Google’s](<https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/models-and-research/gemini-models/introducing-gemini-4-carbon/>) [Gemini](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/gemini>) 4 Carbon is starting with a limited rollout to a subset of cyber defenders, followed by more trusted partners through the [Fairwind Program](<https://deepmind.google/fairwind-program/>). Access for developers, businesses, and consumers comes later.

Google says Carbon ranks first on v5.0 of the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index and sets a new state of the art in cybersecurity and long-horizon work.

The listed introductory API price is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, with cached input 95 percent off. After the introductory period, the listed rates are $4 and $20.
