# Framer MCP

Framer's new MCP server lets [AI tools such](<https://www.framer.com/updates>) as Codex, Claude Code and Cursor work on your canvas, manage CMS content and publish your site. MCP is the protocol that connects the AI tool to your Framer project.

Install the official Framer plugin if your client has one, or configure a remote MCP connection, then authorize access to your Framer account. To choose a project, copy its Project Link from Invite in Framer and paste it into a chat with “Connect to”.
