# ✨ New In Raycast AI

[Raycast](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/raycast>) has [rebuilt AI Chat](<https://raycast.com//changelog/macos/2-3>) to handle multi-step tasks. Raycast says it can plan, use extensions, write and run code, check results, and try another approach when something fails. When it needs a decision, it asks and waits for your answer.

AI billing is also moving from rate-limited to usage-based. Subscription prices stay the same, with a new Max plan for heavier use.

Any paid Raycast plan can now connect a Claude or ChatGPT account for use in AI Chat, Quick AI, and AI Commands. Enable them in Settings → AI → Models & Providers.

Projects group related conversations with their own memory and an optional working directory. Automations run scheduled prompts in the background and add the results to a chat.
