# Release: Java SDK v1.52.0

Slack Java SDK v1.52.0 adds [TaskCardBlock and ContainerBlock support](<https://docs.slack.dev/changelog/2026/10/01/java-sdk>) for Block Kit, plus UrlSourceElement for sources.

It also adds Slack Code API methods for managing code channels, canvases, commands and views. The [setView method](<https://docs.slack.dev/reference/methods/agents.conversations.setView/>) creates or updates a channel view. It requires a granular bot token with the code\_channels:manage scope, and special rate limits apply.
