# ComfyUI releases OPENjutsu, an open-source character swap app

The [ComfyUI](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/comfyui>) team released [OPENjutsu](<https://x.com/ComfyUI/status/2114843030364795231>), an open-source app that swaps a person in a video for a character from a single image while keeping the scene and its sound.

Upload a clip and a character image, then choose a 5 to 15 second section to swap. You can try it on [Comfy’s app hub](<https://comfy.org/hub/apps/openjutsu/>) or run your own copy from [GitHub](<https://github.com/Comfy-Org/comfy-openjutsu>).

Running your own copy requires a Comfy Developer Platform account, an API key and a deployment with the listed models.
