# Anthropic becomes a Corporate Patron of Blender's dev fund

Anthropic has [joined the Blender Development Fund](<https://www.blender.org/press/anthropic-joins-the-blender-development-fund-as-corporate-patron/>) as a Corporate Patron. Its funding supports Blender core development, including the Python API that developers and artists use to extend Blender for custom workflows.
