# Wispr Flow raises $280M at a $2B valuation

[Wispr Flow raised $280 million](<https://wisprflow.ai/post/series-b>) in Series B funding at a $2 billion valuation. Existing investor Menlo Ventures led the round, bringing total funding to $361 million.

Alongside the funding, Wispr Flow previewed Canto, its first proprietary speech model. The company says that in difficult conditions such as background noise, wind, heavy accents, or music, word error rates fall from more than 30% to between 5 and 10%. It expects Canto to cut the dictations users need to edit by 30 to 35% in everyday use.
