[EdgeBar](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/edgebar>) [is a macOS menu bar app](<https://x.com/bhardwajshash/status/2116878227335778610>) that turns the right edge of the trackpad into a volume slider and the left edge into a brightness slider. Shashank Bhardwaj posted it on November 1, 2026. The site lists it at $5 once, and it requires macOS 13 or later. The sliders use the same on-screen display as the keyboard keys.

Quick Mute is a double-tap in the top-right corner. A swipe along the bottom edge skips media, and a tap can play or pause. Holding Shift-Option moves in quarter steps. You can freeze the cursor while you slide, keep slides to the bottom quarter, swap which edge does what, and choose Light or Dark. It stays in the menu bar, with no Dock icon. Bhardwaj says the first day brought 200+ orders. The site does not publish that count, and it lists builds from October 26 through October 29.
