# Release: Python SDK v3.45.0

Slack Python SDK v3.45.0 adds [Slack Code API methods](<https://docs.slack.dev/changelog/2026/10/01/py-sdk>) for managing code channels, canvases, commands and views.

You can use [setView](<https://docs.slack.dev/reference/methods/agents.conversations.setView/>) to create or update a tab with HTML, a diff, Block Kit blocks, a canvas or a pull request. It requires a granular bot token with the code\_channels:manage scope, and special rate limits apply. A channel can hold up to 5 views, with at most one diff.

The release also adds ContainerBlock support and lets TableBlock cells use raw\_number values.
