# How to Run Browser Automation at Scale in the Cloud (2026)

Browser Use’s [cloud automation guide](<https://browser-use.com/posts/run-browser-automation-at-scale>) recommends giving each queued job its own isolated browser, driven by Playwright or Puppeteer over CDP, the Chrome DevTools Protocol.

Cap workers at your plan’s concurrency limit, pace browser creation under its rate limit, and stop each browser when the job finishes. Closing the CDP connection alone doesn’t stop a Browser Use browser.

The guide also compares provider limits and costs. Browser Use lists $0.02 per browser-hour, but its default proxy adds $5/GB. It charges the session timeout up front and refunds unused time when you stop the browser.
