# Google Gemini 4 Argon now available in AI Gateway and Agent Runners

[Gemini 4 Argon is available](<https://www.netlify.com/changelog/gemini-4-argon-ai-gateway-agent-runners/>) in Netlify’s AI Gateway and Agent Runners.

You can call it through the Google GenAI SDK in Netlify Functions without managing API keys or authentication. Create a GoogleGenAI client with an empty configuration object and set the model to 'gemini-4-argon'.

It works across all Function types and Agent Runners, with Netlify handling caching, rate limiting, and authentication automatically.
