# Wispr Flow launches Notetaker, a meeting AI with no bot in the call

Wispr Flow has launched Notetaker, a Mac app that records meetings and turns them into transcripts and summaries without sending a bot into the call.

It uses your Flow personal dictionary and calendar invites as context for names and terms. You get a live transcript, then it processes the recording again after the meeting to attach speaker names. Meeting notes are also available to Claude, ChatGPT, and other compatible tools over MCP, a protocol for connecting AI tools to outside context.

At launch, Notetaker supports English on Mac and is included in Wispr Flow's free forever plan. Pro removes limits. Wispr Flow says audio is encrypted, stored temporarily, and deleted after transcription and verification.
