# Ideogram Vector turns prompts and images into editable SVGs

Ideogram’s first vector model, [Ideogram Vector](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/ideogram>), generates editable SVGs from text or converts existing images into vectors. You can [scale](<https://x.com/ideogram_ai/status/2113300317584720259>), recolor and edit the individual shapes.

It’s live in Ideogram and the API, though Ideogram says app availability can vary. Grouping shapes into layers isn’t available yet.

API text-to-vector pricing per SVG is $0.13 at low quality, $0.16 at medium and $0.20 at high. Image references keep the same low and medium prices; high with references costs $0.32. Image-to-vector conversion costs $0.10 per image.
