# View and restore previous versions of your generative plugins and shaders

[Figma is rolling out version history](<https://www.figma.com/release-notes/?title=view-and-restore-previous-versions-of-your-generative-plugins-and-shaders>) for generative plugins and shaders this week. Each edit saves a new version, keeping earlier versions available to revisit or restore.

Versions get agent-generated descriptions that form a change log, and the list shows which version is currently published.
