Nova-3 Multilingual Expands to 55 Languages and Adds Language Hinting

Deepgram's Nova-3 multilingual model now transcribes 55 languages. Existing model=nova-3&language=multi requests automatically use it on the same /v1/listen endpoints for pre-recorded and streaming audio.

The optional language_hint parameter biases detection toward expected languages without excluding others. Repeat it for each language, such as language_hint=en&language_hint=es. It applies only with language=multi, isn't supported by Nova-2, and an unsupported language code fails the request with HTTP 400.

Code-switching and per-word language tags work as before. To keep the earlier 10-language model, pin version to 2026-01-27.9107 for batch or 2026-01-27.9249 for streaming.
