ChatGPT lets you text your dot over iMessage or RCS

You can text your ChatGPT dot over iMessage or RCS in a preview for Pro users in the United States. Send the agent text, photos, or voice notes, and it can text you proactively.

Texting shares your dot's memory and plugins. Set it up from the dot's profile in the desktop app. Only you can text your dot, and it can text only you; this doesn't give it or OpenAI access to your other conversations. Approval requests arrive as links back to ChatGPT.

The limited beta excludes Business and Enterprise workspaces and may not appear for every Pro account. Message and data rates may apply.
