Monthly Report - October 2026

Krita 5.3.4.1 fixes display profile assignment, a color-management regression. That's the hotfix's only change.

The monthly report also covers work in the development builds. Krita Plus adds trackpad gestures for Krita 6 on Wayland, while Krita Next gets temporary rulers that snap brushstrokes to a straight line. V+Left Click activates the Normal ruler, replacing the default Activate Line Tool shortcut. Shift+V+Left Click uses angles snapped to 15-degree increments.

These development changes are in daily builds: Plus carries the latest bugfixes, and Next includes experimental features. Builds cover Linux, Windows, macOS and Android, but Qt6 builds aren't available for Android.
