⚡ More performance improvements and new ways to send context to AI

Raycast v2.7 for macOS lets you send a screen element or a whole window to AI Chat. Use Send Element to AI, hover over a paragraph, image or button, then click. Send Window to AI shares the whole window instead.

Custom AI provider models can also use Raycast’s Web Search, Read Page, Search Images and Chart tools. Enable them with a tools block in providers.yaml, choosing Raycast, your company gateway or a supported vendor you have a key for.

Raycast says the launcher can use up to 35% less memory while idle. It also reports File Search using up to 95% less memory while searching, with searches up to 30% faster depending on the search terms and number of documents.
