Firecrawl’s free Government &; Legal Index lets ChatGPT, Claude and other AI agents search 30M+ US government pages, from statutes and court opinions to city codes and permits.

Every result quotes and links its source and lists the laws and cases that source cites.

Searching uses no credits. With a free account, you can add the Firecrawl connector in Claude or the Firecrawl plugin in ChatGPT. Developers can also use the API, MCP server, CLI or SDKs. The index covers US law only, and Firecrawl says it isn’t legal advice.
