Morphic adds Screenplays, a script editor on the Canvas

Morphic added Screenplays on the Canvas, so you can write a script in screenplay format there.

Each line formats itself as you type, including scene headings, action, character names, dialogue, and transitions. You can import Fountain, Final Draft, PDF, or plain text, and export Fountain, Final Draft, or PDF.

Imports are limited to 8 MB on the Free plan and 100 MB on every other plan. A PDF can run up to 300 pages, needs real text rather than a scan of page images, and cannot be password-protected. Fountain has no shot type, so shots export as action.

Copilot can rewrite a selection or apply a chat request while keeping each line's type. Those replies use credits, the same as any Copilot chat. People in the same file can edit the screenplay live, and undo only takes back your own edits.
