Gemini 4 Carbon rolls out first to cyber defenders

Google’s Gemini 4 Carbon is starting with a limited rollout to a subset of cyber defenders, followed by more trusted partners through the Fairwind Program. Access for developers, businesses, and consumers comes later.

Google says Carbon ranks first on v5.0 of the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index and sets a new state of the art in cybersecurity and long-horizon work.

The listed introductory API price is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, with cached input 95 percent off. After the introductory period, the listed rates are $4 and $20.
