Alpha Changelog - 10/7/26

Midjourney’s alpha site now has shared folders. Invite people by username as Collaborators who can generate into the folder, or Viewers who can browse its images. Link sharing can limit access to invitees, allow anyone with the link to view, or let any Midjourney member contribute.

Shared folders are an early version. Sharing doesn’t change image privacy: non-stealth images can still appear on Explore and profiles, even inside a private folder. If the owner deletes the folder, images remain in each creator’s history.

There’s also an early “thinking” mode for rerunning V8.2 standard and edit jobs. Midjourney says it looks for missed prompt details, such as objects, layout, anatomy, and text, then generates again.
