Harvey describes how its legal research agent follows citation relationships across its US case law collection, checks how cases are treated, and returns answers with inline citations.

This builds on the US Case Law source made available to customers in June. It covers more than 2,100 federal and state courts and over 8 million published opinions, plus scanned reporter copies. You can search by court, filing date, publication status, and citation relationships.

Harvey plans to expand coverage of unpublished decisions and state trial court orders in the coming weeks.
