In-Region Routing: Route inference in the US or EU

OpenRouter has added US In-Region Routing for Business and Enterprise customers, alongside its existing EU routing.

Use https://us.openrouter.ai/api/v1 as your base URL to have requests decrypted inside the US and routed only to shared provider endpoints there. Your API key, request body, and model IDs stay the same.

Regional endpoints serve a subset of the global catalog. If no eligible endpoint can serve a model in the selected region, the request fails with a 404 instead of routing elsewhere. Requests using your own BYOK key go to your deployment's region, which you control.
