We've released API version 2026-10-21

Anthropic released API version 2026-10-21, with new major SDK and ant CLI releases that send it by default.

The releases include Python SDK 2.0.0, TypeScript SDK 1.0.0, C# SDK 13.0.0, Go SDK 2.0.0, Java SDK 3.0.0, PHP SDK 1.0.0, Ruby SDK 2.0.0 and ant CLI 2.0.0. They also contain breaking changes independent of the API version and switch from the MIT License to Apache 2.0.

User profiles now expose enforcement_status and enforcement_actions, so API customers can check whether Anthropic has restricted or banned an end customer. The enforcement_status[] filter finds profiles with an open restriction or ban.
