Check a YouTube talk before you watch it
Paste a YouTube link into Bearly.ai to get a video card with a Watch, Skim or Skip verdict, clickable key moments, summaries and shorter cuts of the essential parts.
With a transcript, Check claims looks up figures stated in the talk and counts sources that agree or differ. It doesn't decide whether a figure is true. Without readable captions, Bearly watches the video instead: timestamps are approximate, names may be misheard, and videos longer than 90 minutes are summarized from their first 90 minutes. Check claims requires a transcript.
The card works on every plan in the web and desktop apps. Reading videos, Find and Check claims use plan allowance. When it runs out, Find and Check claims turn off, and new videos without readable captions can't be summarized.
Team admins can disable YouTube, and the feature is off whenever Web is off. Check claims and Find need Chat web search, though Find can still look up papers with Scholar enabled.
