Chrome's Gemini can now save prompts as reusable "Skills

Gemini in Chrome can now save prompts as reusable Skills. Save one from chat history, then type / or click + to run it on your current tab and any other tabs you select.

You can write your own or customize a premade Skill for tasks such as comparing products across tabs or scanning long documents. Saved Skills sync across signed-in Chrome desktop devices. Actions such as sending an email or adding a calendar event still require confirmation.

The rollout starts April 15 on Mac, Windows, and ChromeOS, with Chrome's language set to English-US.
