Murf's Speech to Text is in beta, with real-time transcription over WebSocket. It's available only in the India region and supports 12 languages, including English (India), Hindi and Tamil, plus automatic language detection.
You get partial transcripts while someone speaks and a final transcript with word-level timestamps when you end the turn. Silence doesn't end a turn: your client must send Finalize or CloseStream. Finalize keeps the connection open for the next turn. Automatic end-of-turn detection and background voice removal are coming soon and currently have no effect.
It accepts 8 kHz µ-law or A-law telephony audio, plus PCM and Opus up to 48 kHz. Speaker diarization isn't available.
Pricing is $0.24 per hour, billed per second. The free tier allows 5 concurrent requests; pay as you go defaults to 20, with up to 150 on request. Each open connection occupies a slot until it closes.
