Key Presets and Custom Policies

fal now lets you create keys with permission presets or an exact selection of permissions, replacing the ADMIN and API scopes for new keys.

Choose API, SERVERLESS, DEPLOY, COMPUTE, BILLING, READONLY or FULL, or build a custom policy. You can also restrict a key to specific models and set an expiration.

Preset keys follow their preset's live definition. Custom policy keys keep the permissions they had at creation. Adding a model limit to a preset makes it a custom policy key, so those permissions stay fixed too.

Existing ADMIN and API keys continue to work.
