Slack Code for developers
Slack Code lets agents create dedicated channels from existing conversations for work that needs more than a quick reply. People and agents can discuss changes, follow progress and inspect the work in the same channel.
Apps can pin up to five context items, such as a repository, branch or CI status, and add tabs for code diffs, canvases or HTML output. When an app supplies the original channel and message without overriding privacy, the code channel matches the source channel’s privacy.
If a user stops the agent, the app must immediately cease work for that session. Once work is complete, it can post a final summary and archive the channel.
